Loving it so far!!!
I've been a Nissan Owner for over 10 years and was very happy with their product line. I switched to the Edge from a 2010 Murano that was in an accident and I didn't want to chance keeping it. After a lot of research and debate I ended up narrowing my search down to the Traverse, Pathfinder and Edge. I ended up going with a 2013 Edge Limited with the 302A Package. This is pretty much as loaded as one can get. Starting from the outside of the vehicle I absolutely love the look of the vehicle from pretty much every angle. The only negative I could come up with is the placement of the antenna in the front. I really wish they left it in the back. Ascetically it looks a little unbalanced with it in the front but certainly not a deal breaker for me at all. I feel this is a very comfortable vehicle but think someone very tall and or very large might have some issues as I seem to hit my head on the visor more than any vehicle I've ever owned and that is with the seat all the way back. The interior is very clean and the leather seems to be a pretty good quality. All of the controls are easy to access but the touch controls for the climate are very sensitive and can be accidentally activated without knowing it. Personally I like the My Ford Touch / Sync Combination, sure it takes some time getting used to "Talking" to your vehicle but after a while it is kind of fun. Finding things within the navigation can be a little frustrating but it is still the best factory NAV that I've seen so far. The addition features like the Included Remote Start, Blind Spot Information System and Adaptive Cruise Control are all added bonuses that once you get used to them are certainly welcome. The Crash Avoidance System will probably scare you the first few times it activates but it does serve a purpose. Other comments are, there is a surprising lack of information available in the dash displays, I can't see my tire pressure or anything like that but in other models that information is readily available. The keyless entry doesn't work as well as I would like it to. In every other vehicle I've owned it was a two stage process to unlock all of the doors... touch the button one the drivers door unlocks, touch it again and they all do. With the edge it is only a single stage and you have to choose between drivers only and all which is a pain. So far my average mileage is about 16 - 18mpg which is well below what they advertise it should be but I do mostly city driving but haven't been very heavy on the throttle as of yet.. All in all I think that this is a very solid vehicle that I would absolutely recommend to anyone that is considering one. Give me a few more months / thousand miles and I will voice my opinion again.

Perfect
I have had a lot of vehicles, but the Ford Edge is by far the most comfortable and fun to drive. It handles well on icy roads and in snow too. It feels great and handles fantastically. I love my Edge.

Great car
This car has the EcoBoost 4 cylinder engine. There is plenty of power for this size vehicle. When merging on to the expressway it is very easy to match speeds with traffic. Mileage is supposed to be 23 and 30, but I only have around 1,000 miles so I'm not getting those numbers yet. The front interior lacks easy to get to storage. You have to stow items in either the glove box (hard to reach while driving) or between the seats console which is very deep. The storage space underneath the shifter is useless as objects fall out during turns. I need an open shelf somewhere. The door grip is just a bit to far forward for that heavy of a driver's door. It lacks control when trying to gently open it in tight parking spaces. Overall it is a good car and I am happy with it.

I STRONGLY PREFER THE ESCAPE (2008YR)
Since Ford decided to screw up the Escape - I moved to the Edge. Worst mistake... I should have walked away from Ford. Edge - traction control is slim at best. I do not feel safe in this vehicle in the heavy snow. Very light on the back end. Edge - Heat. Definitely gives out the heat but not on a dual (floor and upper) at the same time. The minute you shut the heat off - it cools down considerably real fast. Edge - auto start from key fob ... after only 4 months it no longer works. ??? Good thing I'm only leasing for 3 years. I will strongly think again before I buy this car again. After being a Ford buyer for 29 years - this is the worst car I have ever got from them...

Great Choice!
Got my 2013 Edge 1000 miles ago. Wish I had purchased sooner. The My Ford computer system is extremely easy & user friendly as possible. Car is most comfortable, update looking, good value & a smooth ride. There should be no hesitation in purchasing this vehicle.

Ecoboost comes up short in mileage
I have a 1,000 miles on this 2013 Ford Edge SEL 2.0 Ecoboost. I like the way it drives an sits. It is fairly quiet inside. I like the features, especially the blind spot warning lights in the mirrors, the cross traffic warning, and the 6 way power folddown passenger seat. The My Touch system takes some getting used to, but I like it. The vehicle looks great. I don't like the "chrome" wheel option ($795) which, after purchasing, I discovered is actually a chromed plastic wheel cover which is glued to the wheel. The carpet on the rear seat backs doesn't have much support underneath, so am concerned about putting weight on them when they are in the folded position. The biggest disappointment is the gas mileage. This vehicle gets 3 mpg less (23.2 mpg average in mostly rural driving) than the comperable sized crossover that I traded for it even though the Edge has much better EPA numbers. Along these same lines the computer overstates the average mpg (25.2) so unless you manually compute your mileage, one might think the mileage is better than it is. Overall the Edge falls short of my expectations. There is an overall cheapness about the interior of this car (it has the leather option) - not so much the cockpit, but the rear passenger and luggage areas.

Sporty and reliable car
The Ford Edge is a very sharp vehicle that is highly functional, and my family especially enjoys the dual temperature control and My Ford Touch "Synch" system. The Edge provides a very smooth ride, has plenty of power, and is user friendly. I especially like the added height which gives the driver a superior view of the road as compared to a typical car.

Most Comfortable Ride
I drove every crossover between ranging in price from $21,000 to $31,000. The Ford Edge SEL is the best value hands down.

Terrific Experience Getting New Car
We recently had the best experience ever leasing a new Ford Edge Select from Imperial. We worked with Steve Jionzo, salesman, and Mike Penner, general manager. Within two days, Imperial completed everything related to our trade in, new car, lease payments, finance, registration, and insurance. Colby Craig then set us up with all our dashboard electronics. To date, we?ve driven 2,300 miles and cannot be more appreciative. I especially love the heated seats while my husband the rear camera. The vehicle certainly is the nicest we have ever had. Mr. Penner told us his goal is for every one of his customers to be 100% satisfied. We are for sure! Thank you. And thank you, Mr. Meehan, for everything you do for our community.

More than expected
Everyone sees the outside and that's how you judge the car initially. But it's what you don't see that truly makes you appreciate what you are driving. The power is incredible and the Microsoft sync is entertaining at best. It rides like a car and works like an SUV.
