Good but needs work
I recently rented a 2013 Ford Edge Limited AWD. The performance was excellent. Passing speed was great along with normal driving speed (in my case 70+MPH). The comfort as far as driving was not as comfy. I had to take quite some time to adjust the seat and steering wheel to feel somewhat comfortable. When I first entered the vehicle, the seats were comfy; however, after driving for a while, the seats felt stiffer. One thing that bugged me the most was the MPG. It is not what Ford stated it to be. I was averaging in the mid-teens as far as MPG. The Sync system is horrible. Syncing my phone was no problem, however it could not understand any of my commands. I even had other passengers try to speak (to make sure it wasn't me that was the problem). No luck either way. The radio would just power down for no reason. The "Entertainment Area" just woud freeze up, which is very frustrating. Exterior-wise, the vehicle is great. Engine is awesome. Road noise is not a problem. Seats are objective and personal preference (some people might like stiff seats). Sync is garbage. Without sync and better mpg, I would rec. this vehicle. Otherwise, no.

Happy Road Warrior
I love My Edge!! I have had it for 1 week. I it is sporty comfy and fun to drive when using the sport shift often. The Mytouch feature made me scratch my head, at first as it was initially cumbersome but found it easy to use after a 24hr learning curve. I liked the cap less fill during my first fill up and so far the fuel economy has been decent. My seats are comfortable and the ability to adjust the headrest forward and back for more of a heads up feel was a huge selling feature for me. I would at this time recommend this fun SUV..

I love Edge!
I bought my Ford Edge SEL 2013 model few weeks ago. I love the engine sound when you take off and gives me the feeling of driving an X5. It's certainly a head turninig car. I chose silver body with black leather interior. The microsoft SYNC technology is so easy to use. The cabin is very calm and blocks outside noises. The sound system is one of its kind. My kids are very comfortable in the back and my wife says it's a silky ride. It's simple yet very impressive.

Ford got it right this time
Purchased 2013 Ford Edge Limited AWD three months ago. This is my second new ford vehicle and from the start this Ford Edge has made me smile. It's fun to drive, each and every time. It makes heads turn each and every time. It get's me to point A and B each and every time, from 30 mile round trips to 2000 mile round trips. I spent plenty of time reading reviews, watching videos and walking the dealer lot prior to making any decision. We opted with the limited because of all the options. From the My FordSync, Touch Screen, Blind Spot Detection, Back up Sensors, Collision Warning , "Which Actually applied the break for us when a car pulled out of me and my family and actually saved us for an accident. Backup Camera is top notch and it actually has guide lines for easy backup parking. Living in the Greater NYC area, easy parking is almost a must. My favorite feature for the 2013 Edge is the adaptive cruise control. You apply cruise control like you normally would, but...you set a distance. If you approach a vehicle that is going slower then you, normally we have to break and the cruise control goes off. Now the Ford Edge actually will sense the speed of the vehicle in front of you and slow down automatically, then match the speed of the vehicle in front of you. I use this option in the most ridiculous traffic and it works every single time. The vehicle will automatically unlock the doors when you stand next to the vehicle, so if your hands are full, have no fear because your getting in without having to dig for keys. The wheels are 20' which I thought would be a little rougher on the road, but they are not, they look good and will turn heads. The Panoramic Vista Sun Roof is a very cool feature, by far the biggest sun roof I have ever seen. The passengers in the back seat have a moon roof that does not open, but the fact that the back seats recline zero's out that. The vehicle will set a mood light by your choice at night. The floors light up, cup holders, door handles, back seat floor, we have purple and it's very cool. HID Lights are a great feature and they light up the road without issue. A+++ Ford.

Love the tech
We chose the Edge Sport over a few competitors due to the technology, cabin room and value. Having owned it now for one month we have not been disappointed. However, we find the Sync/Microsoft software, not unlike other Microsoft products, comes with a very steep learning curve. Can someone please tell me why we must be subjected to such insanely complicated software when Steve Jobs can design and make it so simple, even enjoyable to use? I'm sure the Ford/Microsoft design can do amazing things, perhaps even prepare a full course meal and clean the dishes afterwards, but heaven knows how to make it do that! Someday soon we will have spent the required number of days teaching ourselves what it is all capable of, and then we will go for an afternoon cruise listening to our favorite tunes rather spend every minute in our new vehicle trying to figure out what this button and that screen thinga-ma-jiggy will do, not to mention a few choice words of encouragement for each other! Afterwards, I just like to push that accelerator to the floor and watch what 3.7 liters of engine can crank out! Not bad for a family SUV.

Never again will I buy a Ford
I bought a 2012 Ford Edge Limited and have nothing but continued problems with the MyTouch equipment. First it was the navigation system that malfunctioned--had to stop my car in the middle of nowhere in the dark shut down the car, open the door and restart the car to get it to work. The dealer reinstalled the system and that seemed to fix it. Then the bluetooth didn't and continues to not work, the radio doesn't reliably work, the system locks up and nothing seems to fix it for more than a week. The local dealer is trying their hardest to fix it but I still have a frustrating two and a half hour a day commute with equipment that doesn't work--no bluetooth, no radio. Has the potential to be a great car but I will never give Ford another shot.

So far not to bad
This the first Ford I have owned. Love the body style and the way the car drives. We purchased the SEL model. My only complaint is the fuel mileage. After some 3000 plus miles the over all average is 22.7 MPG. This is a combination of city and highway driving. I'm hoping it gets better with age.
