A sports car in SUV clothing

Very happy with the Escape. This is the fifth one that we have had and it is by far the best. Love the exterior and interior appearance, handling and features. Great AWD calibration.

So Far, So good

Overall a nice vehicle with a lot of nice safety and comfort features and a nice smooth ride. Interior is very comfortable but lacks any storage space other than the glove dept. and the arm rest . As well, the panoramic roof only opens a small crack when you open it with the angle option. The Titanium model has so many features it takes time to learn what everything does . Nice mid-size SUV that has a lot to offer for a reasonable price.

Sporty w/Great pick up

I have the Titanium Turbo charge 2.0. The pick-up is amazing & reason I bought along with the sporty look. But after 1 yr and 5K miles things started going wrong. after paing $20K for a 2 yrs old car w/60K miles, that shouldnt happen. Looking to trade in maybe for a GMC Terrain

Good reliable car

Overall very nice. The cover over the fold of the back seats should be changed. Should be level with the back when the seats are folded down.

Very comfortable ride

I drive this car a 100 miles a day for work, it is important to me to be comfortable. The escape provides that for me. And my son loves the panoramic roof! Cool feature!

Too Small for my preference

I previously had a 2006 Escape, and currently have a 2013 (new body style). I definitely prefer the 2006 body style. It has much more room. While the body style is much more sleek, the comfort is not as great in the 2013. I have two children, one in a car seat, and currently he is a 3 year old, who has a difficulty climbing into his car seat (he prefers to do things himself), between the big (but extremely safe) care seat and the lack of space in the back seat, it definitely frustrating. Also the rear passenger side shock constantly makes a hollow thud on every slight bump. I've had several people look at it, saying there is nothing wrong. In addition to the several wiring issues- the radio will stay on despite the car off, keys out of ignition and door open. In order to turn it off I have to start the car then turn it off again. The radio will frequently change volume on its on, and sometimes not work at all- silence, no sound what-so-ever. The most frustrating is the alarm- which at least 2-3 times a month will go off as I get in the car and close the driver side door. I"ve had several Ford vehicles and this is by far my least favorite.

Escape II Blue

Wonderful value! Loaded with extras and comfortable to drive and handle. An assett to my work and play in the weekends. I had an Escape prior to this and it is still going at almost 300,000 miles and 12 years!

Vary good day to day car

I have owned this car for 2 months now and Its really reliable. The seats in the car are not very comfortable there narrow and the head rest are hard and dig into your head if your tall. when going 40 mph or going up hill the exhaust sounds like a dodge neon with a nitrous kit. The steering is tight but when in sport mode its easy to maneuver, overall a great crossover for the money.

The best, average car

Incredibly comfortable, and the car that i learned to drive in. The drive is a little rough, and every slight pothole can be felt throughout the car. However that does not detract from the overall affordability, reliability, and performance of the car as a whole.
