I had the chance to drive an FX2 ecition at Noble Ford in Newton Iowa as Ford was taking the trucks around for prople to test. I was able to drive it both on the highway and in town and was very pleased with both. On the highway the first thing i noticed was how quite the cab was. Then i noticed the milage! 21 mpg on the highway which was very hilly and it neverdown shifted once. Truck was equiped with 3.55 gears and pulled every hill in 6th with no problem. In town milage dropped to 19mpg which is still exxcellent for a full size truck. The acceleration of the truck was fantastic to say the least. Even under full load the engine was very quite. You could barely hear the turbos at all. All in all it seems like a great truck and im sure that the mpg would increase by at least a couple mpg on longer trips. ford definitly has my attention and when these trucks go on sale i'll be in line.

if you are using this truck for work your lookin at the wrong truck the tundra would be the one for work but this is an overall great family pickup truck in my experiece the dodge ram 1500 quad, crew, or mega would be the truck for reliability
