2015 Kia Sorento consumer reviews

Owned a 2015 Sorrento since 2018. It's a great SUV, very comfortable and smooth quiet ride. Lots of power (v6). No issues only routine maintenance.

Bought a Kia Sorento 2015 from Corwin Ford in Pasco with 94k miles on it for 15k, ran for three months before the check engine light came on and it was stalling trying to accelerate, i took it into the shop and they found burnt pieces of shrapnel metal in the base of the engine and two of the 4 cylnders wouldnt fire, they told me the entire engine needs to be replaced,I have it in the kia dealer now theyre booked for a month told me they need to see for themselves to diagnose it, see if it falls under manufacturer warranty, im at a point right now where i literally dont know what to do, avoid this brand and Kia in general.

Performs nicely, cleanly, simply, low maintenance, good gas mileage, looks good, but at 157K miles I'm on an interstate highway going 70-75 mph 400 miles from home and the coolant temp suddenly shoots up. Checking it out it has a blown head gasket and is sending coolant into a combustion chamber. Bardahl head gasket fixer nor anything else won't fix it. Estimates to replace 3.3L engine are $10K US. Now I find out it is common for this to happen at 80K - 160K miles.

The worst vehicle I have ever rode in, and drove. It’s very uncomfortable and not to mention you can’t see to drive it at night. The head lights is ridiculous. I have almost wrecked multiple times due to the awful headlights.

I just bought a 2015 Sorento SX v6 after I was t-boned in my 2013 Sorento LX v6. I loved my 2013. It was my first black SUV which I’ve wanted since I was a kid. My children and I walked away from our accident relatively unharmed after all side airbags deployed and my car was clearly totaled. When shopping for a replacement, it wasn’t a question of what vehicle I wanted to buy after the accident. I trust the Sorento to keep my family safe and I’ll never buy another brand of SUV. It may not be flashy or overly powerful, but it is solid and one of the safest SUVs on the road. I’d recommend this vehicle to anyone and everyone.

I bought my 2015 Sorento last year with 100,000 miles on it. It now has 20,000 more on it and my only problem is the oil consumption!! Quart every 2 months..

We have been put in a bad spot with this car seen like Kia do not care but one thing every body will know about Kia car do not buy a car from Kia motor bad company car no good we paid over 35000 thousand for this car and this what we get Kia going to fix this problem

Car was reliable, got decent mileage for the type of driving we did, was comfortable, quiet. Met all of our needs! This was our 4th Kia!

Nice car until it ran out of oil. No light or indication until the engine made noise at 118K miles. Warranty to 100k.Will have to replace or rebuild motor. Disappointing
