The Q3 arrived for 2015 as Audi’s smallest premium crossover, slotting below the Q5. It seats five and comes with a 200-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. It is available with front- or all-wheel drive. Rivals in the growing field of small, premium SUVs include the Acura RDX, BMW X1, Buick Encore and Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class.
New for 2016
For its second year in the U.S. market, the Q3 gets a new grille, headlights and side sills. Front and rear parking sensors and a backup camera are new standard features, and the Prestige model adds full-LED headlights, dynamic rear turn signals, 19-inch wheels and the S Line exterior package.
