The latter of the two has more pep for your daily driving needs, with fuel economy that’s close to what you get with the base engine. The Q3’s cabin is nicely finished, and the 8.8-inch touchscreen (or optional 10.1-inch screen) is simple to navigate. Cargo space and rear legroom, however, are less than what you get in many other small luxury SUVs. Competitors include the BMW X1, Lexus UX, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Volvo XC40.
