2006 Chevrolet Corvette consumer reviews

I am on the pre-order list for a 2020 C8 Corvette. Will be 95 in January 2020 and am so eager for a Corvette that I couldn't wait, and 3 weeks ago bought a 2006 Z51 automatic Machine Steel (light silver) with 101,000 miles. In short, I love it. Right away I had to install a battery, new radiator, and struts for the rear hatch, but paid only $16.5k so it is still a bargain and now is in perfect condition. It came with summer performance tires so I can push it on our great local twisty roads. Second gear rockets it to 80 mph at redline. I had never even sat in a moving Corvette, but now drive this one every chance I get, even though I also have a 2000 Boxster and a 2017 V6 8AT Camaro. Passersby give me compliments on the car. The only minor negative is the non-standard way the paddles work, but I'm used to them now. I'll still order the C8 but will now order the Blade Silver color because I like the light silver color of my C6 - and will keep the C6 even after I get the C8.

Fast car, handles great, however the interior is so cheaply made compared to any foreign sports car. Otherwise great car, very easy to mod to improve hp.

Had looked online for a few months at older models but this caught my eye and the cost was less than what I was seeing on line for older models.

I have wanted a Corvette for years. The car is even better than I thought. It's a 2006, but it looks and runs like new. This is definitely worth the wait.

This car has plenty of power and comfort. Sounds great and drives like a dream. You will love the stability and beauty of this vehicle as you drive down the road. You will get plenty of looks.

This has been my second Corvette and won't be the last. For the amount of money you spend, you can't get a better performing car. It's infinitely customizeable, not maintenance needy and great on gas. You can even get away for a few days with a passenger since it has an enormous trunk.

I can't stay out of it. This sweet ride is my everyday driver unless it snows or rains. and only has 12,000 miles still has the new car smell at 12 years old.

As the proud owner of a 2006 Corvette ZO6 this car has exceeded my every expectation. I bought it used with a meager 22,000 miles on the odometer and 12 years later it still smells new. I replaced the tires due to age and changed all the fluids, this car is amazing and at full throttle is just a blast to drive. People make fun of old guys for buying Corvettes and that is ok, I didn’t buy it for them, I bought it for me.

Its s nice ride it's worth everything I love it. It runs fast smooth and it's a beast. Everytime I get on that car heads turn and say dang bro nice car.

The power is incredible and it has a smoother ride then my wife's 2011 Maxima, she hates to admit that but, it's true. This is the 6th Corvette we've owned so in our senior years we've learned a thing or two
