First Time Owning a American Car

I bought this car after 21 years of driving Japanese cars only. This is my first American, first week of owning it i drove it to Chicago from Toronto. I had zero problems. Amazing Mileage.. 700 KM before i had to do a fill up. Drove 980 KM on one and a quarter tank. Kids were sleeping a sound in the car while night driving. So you can tell very little road noice and bumps. Love the Panaromic roof... No problems and also wife loves it. She thinks she is sitting in a space shuttle the kind of technology it got.

I Believe!

Researched and test drove almost every Crossover in its class and decided on a 2013 Ford Edge Sport. I was a spoiled Lexus GS300 owner and needed a family SUV type with luxury elements that didn't say "old dude". Very pleased with Edge Sport BUT MPG is not 19/26 at 22 average as stated on sticker - average is about 16-17 in City which was a major downer since that was one of my key decision points. Only other model I would have selected is the limited but Sport was a bit more appealing with lots of technology upgrades. Compared to others like Lexus, Jeep, and GMC, Ford Edge outclasses them overall - even MPG in some cases.

2012 Edge Limited

Love this car, chose it over the Lexus RX because it has it all and cost 9K less. We have 5K on it now and it performs better than expected. Downsized from an Expedition with 130K which still ran like new, but we didn't need the big SUV any longer.

Really enjoying it.

Most cars today are great when it comes to reliability and TCO. Where the Edge feels better for us is the infotainment system, the handling (esp. for long drives) and the gas mileage. A very significant added bonus is the low road noise... phone conversations are so much more clearer to us and the person on the other end. Oh and the rear reclining seats are awesome.... esp if you have the panoramic sun roof. A true american beauty after a long time :)

good buy

I love the features on this (awd limited) car. The backup camera is great because not only can you see in the rear but it also shows you how close the car and rear tires are when you are backing up, excellent for backing in parking spaces. So much so that I mostly park nose out. I also like the way the car rides, high and very smooth ride. worth every penny!
