Always loved the Ford Escape
Love all the new features. I have to her use to everything but am excited. Love the phone hook up also. It’s the perfect size
Vibration in acceraration between 1000 & 2000RPM
I like the car EXCEPT for the vibration that I feel when I drive normally and am not accelerating between 1000 to 2000RPM (speed start to over 60MPH. It is annoying. Have had back to dealer several times and now have contacted Ford directly about the problem. I know of another person that has the same problem.
Problems 4 days into owning brand new car...
I was hesitant to downgrade to the Ford Escape from My Lincoln MKC but wanted the better gas mileage and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked it when I test drove it and am pleased with the features it offers. Unfortunately, 4 days into driving it began having a very noticeable creaking sound upon the vehicle coming to a stop and leaving a stopped position and you can also hear it when driving sometimes and turning. Feels like somethings going to break and it's now sitting in my garage waiting to go back to the dealer. This is my first time even needing service in 17 years. My first and last Ford.
It’s a nice driving car.
It has some really cool features, it handles well. It’s fun to drive and comfortable. I like the auto brake, however I do not like the auto start and stop.
Very Reliable love it
This car is very nice and roomy and drives smoothly I would recommend it to others totally different from the other escapes I have owned more of a luxury car
Love the color inside and out. It meets our needs
Plenty of legroom, has a lot of bells and whistles. Love it. The color is just what I wanted. Bob our salesperson really worked with us as we turned in our lease car and got a new lease car.
Loved it from the minute I test drove it
Just loved it and so happy with Crouse Ford for suggesting this car to us. they also provide good service as well. Thank you Crouse Ford
Ford Escape Hybrid - Amazing Value & Performance!
I purchased a 2020 Titanium Hybrid back in November. I have almost 4,000 miles on the car and have had absolutely no issues. I traded my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee in after taking the Jeep in for 6 service issues in 5 months as I was approaching the end of the warranty. I previously had a 2015 Focus Titanium which I sold with 100,000 miles on the odometer and no problems whatsoever. The Escape caught my eye when it was released because of the sportier contours of the design and the high predicted reliability rating from JD Power. After 3 months of ownership I haven’t been let down. I bought the car at $8k under MSRP and cross-shopped the RAV4 and CRV. Both the Honda and Toyota lacked the sporty appearance and neither could come close to the safety features, self-parking feature, and MPG I get on the Escape. I’m averaging anywhere from 40-42 MPG in mixed driving and it has very responsive steering and breaking in Miami traffic. Both the CRV and RAV4 have very numb handling and I personally prefer the more European driving dynamics offered by the Escape. I’ve read multiple reviews about the interior feeling cheap. First of all, the front to back sunroof is amazing. I have the tan interior and I like the contrast with the darker soft touch padding on the dash and doors. The audio system is awesome and the digital dash looks cool when interfacing with the different driving modes. It’s definitely an understated interior vs. the Japanese or other American car competition, but it’s clear to me that this car was designed more with European tastes in mind, where it’s sold as the Ford Kuga. I’d recommend you give the Escape a test drive. Compare the incentives and discounts you’ll get on this car vs. the competition and it’s a no brained. Apples to apples, a fantastic buy with great performance!!
second one i have owned
car meets all my needs Love driving it and it looks great It has alot of room and drives nice.I also love the body style and color.
Safety features for days but turbulence sucks
So far I love my escape. The only thing that sucks is the wind noise or as Ford calls it, the sound of turbulence I hear while driving over 50MPH on the driver's side. It isn't very loud but loud enough to make me want to sell the vehicle and I haven't gotten my tags yet. It sounds like someone stuck a small piece of paper in the window and then closed it. I took it to the dealership so they could check it out and was told it's Turbulence and there's nothing that can be done. So I'm thinking about selling it and going back to Honda. Too bad.
