2007 Hummer H3 Update: More Power, Mileage Stays Intact

Yesterday we told you of the 10% boost in power for the next model year Hummer H3 SUV. We also wondered if General Motors would be able to keep the mileage in check. The company just got back to us this morning with word that the EPA-estimated mileage will be 15 mpg in the city and 19 on the highway for the automatic transmission and 15/20 mpg for the manual. The only difference from the previous model year is the loss of 1 mpg in the city, which would be expected from such a power gain. While the numbers don’t look stellar, they are on par with the competition in this segment.
