Putting aside the bizarre details of Tiger Woods’ curb-jumping, fire-hydrant-wrecking, tree-smashing excursion and accompanying fallout that’s currently dominating the headlines, we’re wondering how the car is doing.

It’s pretty rough from the looks of it.

Some might have noticed that Woods’ 2009 Cadillac Escalade is, well, not a Buick. Woods spent a hefty chunk of his endorsement career shilling for GM as a Buick spokesman until the automaker let him go a year early from his 10-year, $70 million contract as GM headed toward bankruptcy late last year. The vehicle in question is owned by GM, not Woods, according to the Florida Highway Patrol report.

Hold on. In addition to his other “transgressions,” Woods wasn’t even driving a Buick Enclave? He asked for a vehicle from a different brand?

The scandal only deepens.
