2010-2012 Lexus HS 250h Oil Issue

The problem: Affected vehicles may exhibit excessive engine oil consumption. This may be due to faulty pistons and rings in the engine.
Vehicles affected by this service bulletin:
- 2010 Lexus HS 250h
- 2011 Lexus HS 250h
- 2012 Lexus HS 250h
Corrective action: Dealers will diagnose the condition and if confirmed, replace all the pistons and rings with updated parts, which eliminates the condition.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the Lexus powertrain warranty, which is 72 months or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first.
