Our team had a busy first day at the 2010 Detroit auto show. Roaming the floor, they had up-close and personal views of a number of exciting production and concept vehicles, ranging from Ford’s first global car, the 2012 Ford Focus, to pie-in-the-sky curiosities like the doorless, roofless Mini Beachcomber. Check out staff photographer Ian Merritt’s hard work with photo galleries of all the day’s highlights at the pages below; there are dozens of images from the floor here in Detroit.
