The problem: Affected vehicles may exhibit inaccurate speedometer readings and when diagnosed, exhibit trouble codes P0717, P0721, P0722. This may be due to faulty input and output speed sensors, located inside the automatic transmission.
Corrective action: Dealers will diagnose the condition and if confirmed, replace the input and output speed sensors inside the transmission.
Warranty info: This service campaign is being performed free of charge under the Hyundai new car or extended warranty, whichever applies.
