2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Sedan Headed to New York

Subaru has released this teaser image in advance of its press conference Thursday at the New York auto show with the slogan “The Wing Is Back.” Clearly, this is a reference to the large wing that adorned the previous generation of STI sedans. When Subaru redesigned the Impreza a few years ago, the STI high-performance version was offered as a hatchback only. It looks like the company has finally come around to adding a sedan.

Last week, Subaru released information about updates to the 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX. We’d expect the STI sedan to look similar … but with a big wing.
