The first day of the 2012 Detroit auto show was every bit the whirlwind adventure we expected. From heavy hitters like the redesigned Ford Fusion and Acura RDX, to totally new compact entries like the Acura ILX, Dodge Dart and Cadillac ATS, and to concept electric vehicles like the Nissan e-NV200 and Volkswagen E-Bugster, there was something for everyone at the show.
