Cars.com Family contributor Carrie Kim thought the 2012 Acura ZDX would work well as a family car. After all, this out-of-the-ordinary vehicle seats five and looks sizable from the outside. But after a weeklong test drive, the ZDX’s sloped roofline and dramatic styling were deal-breakers for Carrie and her family of three. Just getting her 1-year-old daughter into her child-safety seat took yoga-like skills and often ended up with Carrie hitting her head on the ZDX’s roofline.
