Limited-Edition Altitude Joins Jeep Wrangler Lineup
Like the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Compass and Patriot before it, the Wrangler Unlimited will get a limited-production Altitude model.
Built off the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited in Sahara trim, the Altitude edition adds a body-colored hardtop and unique interior and exterior modifications. Exterior updates include a body-color-matched center front and rear bumper and 18-inch black-painted wheels. The trim is available in red, black, white and silver. The interior features black leather with red-accent contrast stitching, distinguishing the model from regular Sahara trims.
Only 4,500 Wrangler Unlimited Altitude models will be built. It will have a starting price of $33,740 when it goes on sale next month.
