2013-2015 Audi S8, A8: Recall Alert

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 6,600 model-year 2013-15 Audi S8 and A8 sedans

The Problem: The supply line for the high pressure fuel pump may become porous over time, resulting in a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the fuel line free of charge.

What Owners Should Do: Audi parent company Volkswagen will begin notifying owners Aug. 21. Owners can call the automaker at 800-253-2834, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
