CARS.COM

Vehicles Affected: Approximately 1,300 model-year 2013-17 Toyota Tundra pickup trucks and Sequoia SUVs

The Problem: Vehicles accessorized with Southeast Toyota 20-inch Rockstar wheels installed by Southeast Toyota or a Southeast Toyota dealer were installed with lugnuts that may crack and detach, which may cause the wheels to separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will install new replacement lugnuts for free.

What Owners Should Do: Southeast Toyota will begin notifying owners June 23. Owners can call Southeast Toyota at 866-405-4226, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
