2014-2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Radiator Fan Issue
Vehicles affected by service bulletin:
- 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
- 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class
The problem: Failure of the electrolyte capacitor in the radiator fan control unit may cause the fan to malfunction. As a result, the car’s air conditioning may malfunction.
Corrective action: Dealers will check the production date of the fan and, if necessary, replace it.
Warranty info: This repair is being done under the new-car warranty.
