On the heels of the car’s September debut at the Paris Motor Show, Jaguar has released pricing for its new convertible. When the 2014 F-Type goes on sale next summer, it’ll start just under $70,000, including the destination charge.

Loosely based on the C-X16 coupe concept, the F-Type seats two and will be available in three trims. Base models use a 340-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 and start at $69,875. Midlevel S models get power from a 380-hp version of the V-6 and start at $81,875.

Powering topline V8 S versions is a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 that makes 495 hp. Prices for the V8 S start at $92,875. An eight-speed automatic is the sole transmission. All prices include an $875 destination fee. Jaguar expects base models to go from zero to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds; the V-8 should reach that speed in 4.2 seconds.

The F-Type will be the smallest vehicle in Jaguar’s lineup and slot below the XK coupe and convertible, which start at $85,375, including the destination fee. The F-Type will be available solely as a convertible, but we expect a coupe model to follow.
