Nissan has been steadily increasing the output of the twin-turbo V-6 in its GT-R supercar for the past few years with the most recent bump bestowing the car with a staggering 545 horsepower. For 2014, that spirit of continuous improvement is alive and well as the automaker turns its attention to the GT-R’s chassis and suspension. The sports car is also available with a new Premium Interior Package. It hits dealerships in January.
The front suspension sees the biggest changes with updated geometry and a new anti-roll bar that lowers the car’s front roll-center. Revised springs and shocks lower the center of gravity, too. Nissan says the changes improve high-speed handling and ride comfort.
