Just when you thought the next-generation C7 Corvette couldn’t get any more wicked, Chevrolet pulls the wraps off the new 2015 Corvette Z06. Packing a supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 that makes a whopping 625 horsepower and 635 pounds-feet of torque, the high-performance Z06 shares much of its blood with a close relative, the victory-lapping Corvette C7.R that races in the famed American Le Mans Series.

From aggressive, aerodynamic styling cues like a menacing front splitter, lightweight carbon fiber hood with functional heat extractors, rear spoiler and unique opening spats before the front wheels, the new Z06 has serious looks to support its serious racetrack manners.
