The current Hyundai Sonata changed how many car shoppers viewed the brand in the U.S., and in just a few weeks the company will unveil the next generation at the New York International Auto Show.
But today the company unveiled the global version of the new sedan in Korea. Final U.S. specs, trim levels and prices will have to wait, but for now we can tell that the car gets a new, more angular look versus the curvy lines of the current car.
It also resembles the redesigned Genesis large sedan that will go on sale soon.
We’ll have more on the new Sonata during our New York Auto Show coverage April 16 and 17.
