The problem: A software glitch in the entertainment systems of affected vehicles may cause a variety of anomalies indicating the system is malfunctioning. Anomalies include an inoperative radio, a blue screen, a clipping noise on AM stations and a compass that points only north.
Corrective action: Dealers will update the audio system software.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under GM’s limited new-vehicle warranty.
