The Flex is one of three Ford SUVs that offer three rows of seats; the others are the Explorer and Expedition. The Flex has seating for six or seven people, depending on the configuration, and it competes with the Chevrolet Traverse, Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander.
Front- and all-wheel-drive models are available. A 287-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 is standard, and the all-wheel-drive Limited model is available with a 365-hp, turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6.
