The problem: Affected vehicles may display poor shift quality when selecting Drive or Reverse from a stop or from low-speed engagement. This is due to a software glitch in the transmission control module.
Corrective action: Dealers will update the transmission control module software, which improves transmission shift quality, thus eliminating the condition.
Warranty info: This service bulletin is being performed free of charge under the limited new-car warranty.
