Vehicle Overview

The seven-seat GL-Class SUV has standard all-wheel drive, three rows of seats and four available engines: two turbocharged V-8s, a turbo-diesel V-6 or a turbocharged gas V-6. As with other Mercedes models, the top-shelf version of the GL-Class is a performance-oriented AMG edition, the GL63 AMG. Competitors include the Audi Q7, Cadillac Escalade, Infiniti QX80 and Lexus LX 570.
