The subcompact Prius c is a smaller alternative to the regular Prius and Prius v. C stands for “city,” and the Prius c is a four-door hatchback that competes with high-mileage subcompacts like the Hyundai Accent, Ford Fiesta and Chevrolet Sonic.
New for 2016 Toyota’s Safety Sense C system is available, as well as a Special Edition that’s limited to 1,500 units. The Safety Sense C system adds lane departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights and a precollision system. The Special Edition comes in black with Electric Lime or Cherry Pearl exterior and interior accents and black-painted 15-inch wheels.
