Vehicles Affected: Approximately 31,300 model-year 2017-18 Audi A4 sedans and A4 Allroad wagons, and model-year 2018 A5 Sportback hatchbacks

The Problem: The aluminum trim on the front and rear doors can come loose from around the door speakers, leaving sharp edges exposed and increasing the risk of an injury.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the speaker cover aluminum trim for free.

What Owners Should Do: Audi will begin notifying owners this month. Owners can call the automaker at 800-253-2834, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit www.safercar.gov to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
