CARS.COM — Ten months after its bow at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2017 Infiniti QX30 will arrive at dealerships in September starting from $30,945 for the base model and ranging to $38,695 for the top Premium all-wheel-drive model; all prices including a $995 destination charge.
Boasting styling swoopier than a bird of prey at lunchtime with a curvy cabin to match, the QX30 also sports a starting price lower than that of any rival. With destination, the 2017 Lincoln MKC starts at $33,645, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class at $33,775 and the 2016 Lexus NX 200t at $35,915.
The QX30 comes in six trim levels: base, Luxury, Premium and Sport, plus all-wheel-drive versions of the Luxury and Premium models. All versions are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine good for 208 horsepower and 258 pounds-feet of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is the sole transmission.
The base model comes with LED daytime running lights; adaptive LED headlights with automatic high beams and LED fog lights are optional, as are a panoramic moonroof and roof rails. Standard safety and convenience features include Bluetooth connectivity, a backup camera, a smart key and dual-zone climate control. Around View Monitor, Moving Object Detection, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning and auto emergency braking are optional on all models, as is a premium Bose 10-speaker stereo with HD radio.
The lower-riding Sport trim adds unique lower body elements, a gloss-black grille, body-color side sill panels, dark chrome exhaust finishers, 19-inch gun-metal aluminum-alloy wheels, a moonroof, and the Infiniti InTouch multimedia system with a 7-inch touch-screen, navigation, voice commands, SiriusXM Travel Link and connected services.
The higher-riding Luxury AWD and Premium AWD trims include model-specific body elements, black side sills, roof rails and 18-inch aluminum alloy-wheels. All four Luxury and Premium trims come with Nappa leather seats.
