2017 Jeep Renegade: What's New

Vehicle Overview

What it is: The subcompact Renegade SUV may look like a pure American Jeep, but underneath is a modified platform shared with the Fiat 500L that Jeep calls its “small-wide 4×4 architecture.” The five-seat Renegade is built in Italy and offers a choice of two four-cylinder engines, a manual or automatic transmission, and front- or four-wheel drive. The Trailhawk trim level is equipped for off-roading and its four-wheel-drive system includes a low range. Competitors include the Chevrolet Trax, Honda HR-V and Mazda CX-3.
