Vehicles Affected: Approximately 40 model-year 2018 Genesis G80 and G90 luxury sedans

The Problem: The windshield and rear window may have been installed with incorrect primer, potentially reducing the glass bonding strength and causing the windshield and rear window to detach while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will replace the front and rear glass for free.

What Owners Should Do: Genesis manufacturer Hyundai will begin notifying owners June 30. Owners can call the automaker at 855-371-9460, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit NHTSA’s website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
