2018 Porsche Cayenne Teased Ahead of Debut


CARS.COM — Porsche released a video teasing its next Cayenne SUV ahead of its official reveal on Tuesday. The teaser video gives hints at the upcoming model’s design and claims Porsche “created something extraordinary.”

It’s not wrong, either, as few other SUVs can do what the Cayenne is capable of doing in one package, both on- and off-road. The new Cayenne draws inspiration from various non-Cayenne models highlighted in the video: the 1950 Porsche 356 1100, 1956 Porsche Type 597 Jagdwagen (“hunting car”) and 1985 Porsche 959 Paris-Dakar.
The reveal will be livestreamed on Tuesday, ahead of a full reveal at the 2017 International Motor Show in Frankfurt, Germany, in September. Check out the preview video here.
