2019 Infiniti QX50 Video Review
CARS.COM — The QX50 is Infiniti’s latest entry in the crowded small luxury SUV class. It delivers impressive levels of quality, utility and value, but it also has some obvious shortcomings.

Outside, the QX50’s styling nearly mirrors two concept cars that preceded it, while the overall look definitely still says Infiniti, and new styling cues like the fluid, more shapely body lines keep it attractive.
Inside, the cabin materials are lush — there’s real leather and three-dimensional stitching. The dashboard is dominated by screens: Two touchscreens are front and center, and they’re easy to use. One negative to the multimedia system, however, is that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are unavailable. In back, the second row offers decent headroom and legroom for adults, and it slides for added comfort.
Under the hood, the QX50 uses a new variable-compression engine, which allows the engine to switch more smoothly between power and efficiency, and the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder makes 268 horsepower and 280 pounds-feet of torque. It’s mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission — which feels neither sporty nor luxurious.
