Audi came to the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show loaded with new models, but none of them are as exciting as the 2020 RS 6 Avant, a wagon that enthusiasts have pined for, for years — and it’s finally here. Is it all we hoped and dreamed? Well, we haven’t driven it yet, but its numbers are promising.

Don’t let the word wagon confuse you — the RS 6 Avant is blisteringly fast, at least that’s the case with this European model that Audi brought to the auto show. All the specs we have are for the Euro model, so they may change, but hopefully only slightly.

Audi says the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 will produce roughly 600 horsepower and roughly 590 pounds-feet of torque. It sprints from 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph. A Performance Package boosts that top speed up to 189 mph.

Inside you’ll find a cabin similar to what’s in the redesigned Audi A6 and A7 sedans, with a few sport-themed twists. Watch the video below for our favorites.
