2020 Genesis G90: Freshened Flagship Teased

Genesis posted a shadowy teaser on Facebook today of its refreshed Genesis G90 flagship sedan with the car still under a sheet but revealing new headlights. While the 2020 G90 could have a U.S. debut as early as the end of November at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show, the post did not promise that.

We also may see the sheet pulled off sooner in South Korea. Pre-orders for the car open there on Nov. 12, according to the Korea Herald. The refreshed car also is being renamed the G90 there; it had been called the EQ900 in its home market.
No other details of the update of the G90 were given except to say that the 2020 will have “distinctive styling cues and exceptional comfort,” which also describes the luxurious current G90. The bigger question, given the current luxury market’s tastes, is, “When we will see a Genesis SUV?”
If the 2020 Genesis G90 does show up in L.A., we’ll be there live on the show floor to see it, so check back in with us then.
