Japanese automaker Mazda has released new pricing for its all-electric 2023 MX-30, which now starts at $35,385 (all pricing includes a $1,275 destination charge).
Exterior styling has been carried over from the 2022 model, with the subcompact SUV still offering quirky styling with RX-8-style rear-hinged doors. The interior once again features unique materials like cork accents, which serve as a subtle reminder of the company’s past as a cork manufacturer.
Performance hardware carries over, too, with a standard front-mounted electric motor that makes 143 horsepower and 200 pounds-feet of torque, plus a 35.5-kilowatt-hour battery pack that allows the electric vehicle to get up to 100 miles of range in between charges. Mazda claims that the MX-30 can charge from 20% to 80% in 36 minutes on a DC fast charger.
The MX-30 comes with standard lane departure steering assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a driver-monitoring system, blind spot monitoring and rear parking sensors. The Premium Plus Package adds blind spot steering assist, a 360-degree camera, front cross-traffic alert, a driver-monitoring camera and front parking sensors.
Pricing and Release Date
The 2023 Mazda MX-30 will be making its way to California dealerships this spring. Full pricing is below:
