2024 Ram HD Rebel, Power Wagon Over the Moon With New Lunar Editions
If you’ve never read anything about Dodge or Ram and wondered what they’re smoking, you will now. Ram is picking a fight with NASA’s lunar rover, claiming its new 2024 Ram 2500 heavy duty Rebel and Power Wagon Lunar editions “crush the competitive lunar rover with more off-road capability, better weight-to-gravity traction, power and payload” — although the brand does admit the lunar rover can operate in the vacuum of space, which its pickup trucks cannot.

The Lunar edition trucks are mechanically the same as their Earthbound relatives, except that the Rebel Lunar is available exclusively with the turbo-diesel 6.7-liter six-cylinder engine and the Power Wagon gets a 6.4-liter V-8. Both are sprayed an exclusive Ceramic Grey and accented with black side graphics, fender trim, side mirrors and powder-coated bumpers. They also ride on black wheels — measuring 17 inches on the Power Wagon and 20 inches on the Rebel — wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires.
Continuing the lunar color palette inside, black leather seats sport Surf Blue stitching. A die-cast metal Power Wagon or Rebel badge adorns the center console armrest, and the trucks are fitted with a wireless charging pad, a first for the Ram HD.

Orders for the 2024 Ram Power Wagon and Rebel Lunar editions have already opened, and the trucks are scheduled to arrive on lots in October. The Power Wagon Lunar Edition starts at $75,205 and the Rebel at $85,490 (all prices include $1,995 destination fee).
