Audi Q3: Which Should You Buy, 2021 or 2022?
Most significant changes: The Q3 40 TFSI Premium trim returns as the base model, resulting in a slight price drop for 2022. Base trims get more standard features for 2022, including Audi’s new MIB 3 multimedia system, blind spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert. The optional Convenience Package comes with eight-way power front seats, auto-dimming folding mirrors with memory and a Homelink garage door opener. Premium trims get a standard surround-view camera.
Pricing: Thanks to the return of a slightly decontented base trim for 2022, the cost of entry for a Q3 has dropped by about $1,000. Pricing for the base-engine Q3 40 TFSI model starts at $35,995 for its lowest trim, Premium, while the next-higher Premium Plus starts at $39,295. An upgraded engine, the Q3 45 TFSI, starts at $38,295 for Premium or $41,595 for Premium Plus. All prices include a $1,095 destination charge, $100 more than last year.
