CARS.COM — British luxury automaker Bentley is bringing three models never seen before in North America to Monterey Car Week.

The models include an extremely powerful version of the Continental, the gorgeous EXP 12 Speed 6e concept and three new versions of the Bentayga SUV, which remains — in the technical assessment of this writer — ugly.

Bentley Continental Supersports

The new Continental is called the Continental Supersports, a 700-horsepower grand tourer that Bentley touts as “the world’s fastest four-seat car.” Numerous automakers might want to take issue with that claim, but the Bentley will undoubtedly have the plushest accommodations in the hypothetical drag race.

Bentley EXP 12 Speed 6e

The EXP 12 Speed 6e has a mouthful of a name and looks that will make jaws drop. The all-electric sports car concept also uses sustainable materials on the inside to boost its green credibility.

Bentley Bentayga

Then there’s the Bentayga. Three new versions will be displayed: Mulliner, Black and Activity. Mulliner versions will add to the bespoke options available to buyers; there weren’t yet details on the Black and Activity versions, but perhaps Activity alludes to features attractive to buyers with a more “active” lifestyle. Bentley also didn’t provide details on when it might produce an SUV that isn’t one of the ugliest cars on the road — at least in our opinion.

Home goods and luxury accessories will also be on display for attendees who would like to spend large, but not astronomical, sums of money on Bentley-branded items. For those who can spend those astronomical sums but would prefer something a little more vintage, three classic Bentleys will also be available at auction.
