With its roomy interior and trunk and lower starting price, there’s a lot to like about the 2012 Volkswagen Passat. Get the TDI trim with its turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, and you’ll love its EPA-estimated 30/40 mpg city/highway, says Cars.com Family contributor Sara Lacey.
