Taking advantage of Audi’s aptitude for creating quickness in smaller, lower-horsepower engines, the 2013 A4 shouldn’t have to work so hard to keep sales pace with its better-selling German competitors. Cars.com reviewer Kelsey Mays says the midsize luxury sport sedan manages hefty torque with its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine while maintaining respectable fuel efficiency and responsive handling. Offering a reliably sophisticated, if not dynamic, interior, along with some subtle revisions to its face, the A4 is a “textbook example” of how to keep an older model fresh.
