Chevrolet Celebrates U.S. Semiquincentennial With 2026 Stars & Steel Collection
Key Points
- Chevrolet has introduced the Stars & Steel Collection to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S.
- The special-edition models include the Chevrolet Corvette, Colorado, Silverado 1500, Silverado 2500/3500 and Silverado EV.
- Production for the Stars & Steel Collection models will begin in the early spring.
In 1976, the U.S. celebrated its 200th birthday, but the Latin word for “250th” is a lot harder than “bicentennial.” Whether or not anybody masters the pronunciation of “semiquincentennial,” Chevrolet is ready to celebrate the occasion with its Stars & Steel Collection.

The Stars & Steel Collection consists of five models all built in the U.S.: the Corvette sports car; Silverado EV, 1500 and 2500/3500 pickup trucks; and Colorado pickup. All of these special-edition vehicles are painted white or black and wear flag-inspired full-length stripes, as well as graphics of a simplified American flag alongside the number 250 (both in Satin Silver on white vehicles; Satin Black on black). The vehicles also wear black wheels and what Chevrolet calls “select premium options that underscore patriotism.”
2026 Corvette
Of the five vehicles to get the semiquincentennial treatment, only the Corvette will be limited to 250 units. The package is available on all versions of the car (Stingray, E-Ray, Z06, ZR1 and ZR1X) and in both coupe and convertible body styles, but only on the range-topping 3LT and 3LZ trims. While the rest of the Stars & Steel Special Edition Chevys have black or gray interiors, Corvette buyers get to choose between a white exterior with a blue interior or a black interior with a red interior.
Being limited production, the Corvette gets sill plates and a plaque in the interior bearing its build number. Gloss-black wheels, Carbon-Flash or carbon-fiber wheels are available options. Black exhaust tips and red brake calipers, seat belts and a red engine cover round out the package.
2026 Silverado EV
While Chevrolet previously announced the 2026 Silverado EV lineup without the RST, the range-topping trim level is back for the semiquincentennial. The Silverado EV Stars & Steel Special Edition gets a gray interior and wears gloss-black 24-inch wheels, black badging and a new Brembo braking system with larger front rotors squeezed by red calipers.
2026 Silverado 1500
The Silverado 1500 Stars & Steel Special Edition is, like the Silverado EV, based on the RST trim level. It’s only available as a crew-cab short bed with the 420-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 engine and four-wheel drive. In addition to black 22-inch wheels, badging, running boards and exhaust tips, as well as red front brake calipers, the Silverado 1500 sports a performance air intake, spray-on bedliner, wheelhouse liners and a tonneau cover for the bed. Luxury features include the Convenience Package II and a moonroof.
2026 Silverado HD
Few things are more American than arms races, and so the 4WD Silverado heavy-duties’ Stars & Steel Special Edition can only be had with the 470-hp, 6.6-liter Duramax V-8 diesel engine, which also churns out 975 pounds-feet of torque. Based on the LTZ Crew Cab Trail Boss, the Stars & Steel version is loaded with nearly every option available on the Silverado 2500/3500: the Z71 off-road suspension, a spray-on bedliner, heated and ventilated front seats, heated outboard rear seats, a Bose stereo and additional safety tech. The Silverado HD Stars & Steel Special Edition also boasts a moonroof, the Max Trailering and Gooseneck/5th-Wheel Prep packages, a tonneau cover and running boards.
2026 Colorado
It’s much the same story at the small end of the Chevrolet pickup spectrum. The Colorado Stars & Steel Special Edition is based on the 4WD Trail Boss and fitted blackout trim packages (Midnight and Dark Essentials), skid plates, rocker protectors, red tow hooks, a spray-on bedliner and a tonneau cover.
Stars & Steel Appearance Package
For buyers unable to make the financial commitment to the fully decked-out Stars & Steel Collection trucks, Chevrolet will also offer a Stars & Steel Appearance Package across its truck lineup. The package will feature the same striping and graphics, plus select content depending on trim level.

Release Date and Pricing
Production of the Chevrolet Stars & Steel Collection will begin in the early spring of 2026, with pricing to be announced closer to the launch date. Chevy will donate $250 of every sale to nonprofits that support veterans, and a one-of-one Corvette ZR1X Stars & Steel-inspired model will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson’s Winter Auction in January; 100% of the hammer price from that sale will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which provides mortgage-free homes and financial assistance to families of fallen first responders and injured veterans.
