Hear the Dodge Challenger Demon Scream: Video

CARS.COM — A few weeks ago, we showed you the new 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon in B5 Blue, the first time we’d seen it painted anything other than red or gray. We revved it up for you, too, but we got some rather disappointed comments about that … most notably from Tim Kuniskis, the head honcho over at Dodge brand, who said he was disappointed in the video because it didn’t make the Demon sound like it should.

Fast forward to yesterday, when we got a much more in-depth look at the Demon at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Mich., where Kuniskis brought another Demon and some engineers to explain how they made the thing. And then he took it out on the M1 track to give us a true demonstration of how it’s supposed to sound under full throttle.

After the first pass, the collective word from the assembled journalists was “… wow.”

Turn your speakers up, folks. This is what the Demon scream sounds like. Wow.
