After releasing two teasers earlier in the year, Honda is continuing to build anticipation for its 2026 Passport by previewing new equipment aimed at enhancing off-road performance.

The TrailSport variant will feature specially designed 18-inch wheels paired with 31-inch all-terrain tires and orange heavy-duty front tow hooks. A shorter front overhang will improve its approach angle.

Technological advancements are also part of the TrailSport’s package, with the newly available TrailWatch system trickling its way down from the larger Pilot TrailSport. This setup offers four camera views (front, rear, side and 360 degrees) to assist drivers in navigating difficult off-road terrain. The system includes tire-path and vehicle-body guidelines to improve visibility over obstacles like blind crests and deep ruts.

Additionally, Honda is introducing a range of accessories, including rock sliders and an aluminum front scuff plate for added protection. Overlanding enthusiasts will appreciate the new Modular Light-Weight Load-Carrying Equipment, or MOLLE, storage system integrated into the rear cargo area, alongside other cargo accessories.

The 2026 Passport’s full unveiling is expected later in the fall, and vehicles are expected to arrive at dealerships in early 2025.
