How Much Is the 2026 GMC Hummer EV?

A nearly five-ton electric vehicle with seating for just five, the GMC Hummer EV is an enigma. And it doesn’t get any less perplexing for 2026, with a new Carbon Fiber Edition available for both the pickup truck and SUV. The 2026 GMC Hummer EV starts at $99,095 (all prices include $2,495 destination charge).

What’s New for 2026

Based on the 3X trim level, the Carbon Fiber Edition adds carbon-fiber and black trim and a unique matte-gray exterior/black-and-orange interior color combo. On the pickup, it also drops 0-60-mph acceleration to what GMC says is just 2.8 seconds. That’s an awful lot of momentum gained in an incredibly short time.

GMC also updated the shock-absorber tuning for improved ride quality across the line, and a new King Crab mode (a play on the vehicle’s existing CrabWalk function) allows the rear wheels to steer faster than the fronts for improved maneuverability off-road. King Crab will also be available to existing Hummer EV owners later this year through an over-the-air update. Bidirectional charging and the latest version of GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving tech are also standard for 2026.

Release Date and Pricing

The 2026 GMC Hummer EV is on sale now. Pricing is the same for the pickup and SUV, giving buyers a no-cost choice between wet and dry cargo.

  • 2X: $99,095
  • 3X: $107,195

Trim Levels

The only significant difference between the entry-level 2X and pricier 3X trim levels is the powertrain; both come as loaded as their price tags would suggest. Standard equipment on the 2X includes a height-adjustable air suspension with adaptive shock absorbers, 22-inch wheels wearing all-terrain tires, LED exterior lighting, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a power frunk, removable front and rear roof panels, a spray-in bedliner (on the pickup truck), and keyless entry and start.

Inside, the Hummer EV includes an integrated trailer brake controller, synthetic leather, a power tilt-and-telescoping heated steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, heated outboard rear seats, and power-adjustable, heated and ventilated front seats. Standard cabin tech consists of an 11-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, a 14-speaker Bose sound system and a 13.4-inch touchscreen with Google Built-In.

The Hummer EV’s tech suite is every bit as comprehensive as its roster of luxury equipment. Standard systems include Super Cruise, automated parking, forward collision warning with pedestrian and bicyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind spot steering assist with trailer coverage, front and rear cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking, a 360-degree parking camera, a driver attention monitor, road-sign recognition and automatic high beams.

In addition to an extra motor on the rear axle, the 3X adds standard Watts to Freedom mode, which temporarily boosts motor output for maximum acceleration (it’s optional on the 2X) and different 22-inch wheels.
