CARS.COM — Jaguar is continuing to expand its SUV lineup with the addition of the new E-Pace. The compact SUV will slot below the F-Pace in size and price, and it goes on sale in early 2018 starting at $39,595, which isn’t much less than the F-Pace’s $42,985 base price (prices include destination).
It’s no surprise that the automaker plans more SUVs. The body style is becoming crucial to Jaguar’s sales, with the F-Pace taking the top slot as the brand’s volume leader in May. The E-Pace will also join the electric I-Pace SUV when it goes on sale in 2018, though so far we’ve only seen a concept version.
Details are slim, but Jaguar said the new SUV will have standard all-wheel drive, as well as a host of connected car technology and convenience features. The E-Pace will make its debut on July 13, so check back then to learn more as we do.
